The second CFC ANCOP Northern Virginia's Battle of the Band project was successfully held on Nov. 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Vienna, VA.
This was learned from Gilbert Licayan, project coordinator.
Licayan announced their group raised over $20,000. Said amount is for ANCOP USA's Child Sponsorship Program.
In addition, the coordinator said the yearly project is aimed at evangelizing non-CFC members by watching the show or even by participating at the band contest.
Licayan said their group will continue the program next year in a larger scale opening its doors to non-CFC members to watch and even perform at the event.
Despite having such measures in the Bicol Region due to the volcanic activities of Mayon, delegates from Holy Child Parish in Saskatchewan, Canada, led by CFC ANCOP Regina shared their time and hope to the residents of Tabaco City, Albay through an immersion last February 19-22, 2018.
CFC ANCOP is joyous to fully embrace programs that will support the projects of government in building by producing individuals skilled for constructing structures for the country. With this, the foundation partnered with different organizations that caters Technical and Vocational courses such as Don Bosco TVET Center.
