BLESSING OF MOBILE TRAINING CENTER COMMENCED

CFC ANCOP and its partner, Don Bosco One TVET, with their strong motivation to provide education to hone skills and capabilities of poor people mainly in technical and vocational courses, commenced the blessing ceremony of their first Mobile Training Center last May 24, 2018 at Don Bosco Makati. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Dindo Vitug, also Don Bosco One TVET’s Executive Director. The ceremony was attended by some of Don Bosco’s employees and CFC ANCOP group headed by, Bro. Efren Tompong, the CFC ANCOP Education Head.
Mobile Training Center (MTC) was rolled out to further strengthen the purpose of Technical and Vocation Education and Training for Youths (TVET-Y) and Technical Vocation Education and Training for Parents (TVET-P) which is to provide education that will enhance the skills in TechVoc intended to the poor people, as well as to extend a hand to the marginalized sector in the country’s peripheries. Trainings in the Mobile Training Center are provided by qualified Don Bosco trainers. Some of the courses offered on the MTC are Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Masonry, and Carpentry.
Technical and Vocational courses, especially those offered in the MTC, are highly encouraged as it provides short but efficient education and/or training. It has also high demands in job opportunities locally because of the government’s Build, Build, Build Program. It also offers high-paying jobs and are in-demand not just locally, but also internationally. Lastly, it is also one of the fast ways to help a family’s rising needs.
