EMPIRE EAST PARTNERS WITH CFC ANCOP FOR BOHOL HOUSING PROJECT
Friday, November 09, 2018
With God's continued blessings to CFC ANCOP, Empire East Land Holdings Inc. chose us as their partner in building a community of 40 houses in Maribojoc, Bohol for the rehabilitation of the victims of Typhoon Yolanda and the 2013 Bohol earthquake. Their representative, Atty. Celeste Sioson, set up a meeting with CFC ANCOP Global Foundation, Inc. President Rudy Gaspillo just this July 10, 2018 to seal the partnership and agreed upon the MOA signing happening in a month.
Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. is currently engaged in developing and marketing of mid-cost housing projects like condominium communities, subdivision lots and house and lot packages, as well as commercial units to a limited extent. This company started in the real estate industry through the establishment of Megaworld Corporation and started to branch out in 1994 as an independent company to focus more of their target stable role. They are currently engrossed on its transit-oriented condominiums around Metro Manila for an outstanding mobility to metro’s main railways. Some of their developments include Little Baguio Terraces at San Juan and Pioneer Woodlands at Mandaluyong.
This year, Empire East is to find a beneficiary and partner organization for a housing project with their intention to continue their efforts in reaching out to the less-privileged families by giving back to the community and sharing the happiness of owning a home. They are passionately aiming for improving the lives of every Filipino family by providing quality dwellings, especially to the less-privileged families, giving them hope for new beginnings and for a brighter future. Empire East previously had housing project partnerships with other foundations such as Habitat for Humanity and Gawad Kalinga having the same motive. For this year’s project, they saw the need to rebuild and rehabilitate the homes and the lives of the people from Bohol which were still suffering the effects caused by two horrendous calamities in 2013, the Magnitude 7.2 earthquake and Typhoon Yolanda that took place in the province for two consecutive months. With this goal, they got in touch with Father Valentino U. Pinlac, STL, the current Priest-in-Charge for Bohol Rebuilding and Rehabilitation Project.
It is through Father Pinlac that Empire East chose CFC ANCOP as their partner organization in building the homes of the victims. Incredibly, Fr. Pinlac strongly suggests that he only wants CFC ANCOP to implement this housing project in Maribojoc because of its holistic approach in building lives; CFC ANCOP does not only settle in building houses, but it is building a community where lives are also formed spiritually. This is why the company utterly complied by deliberately searching for us and finally, securing the partnership immediately.
It is truly the grace of the Lord that He brings people and organizations together to rebuild not just homes, but also the ruined lives of our brethren brought by natural calamities. Let us all continue to pray for the success of this housing project, that it may always share God’s transforming love with the poor. (CFC ANCOP Communications)
After the success of the pilot roll-out of Mobile Training Center in Salcedo, Samar last September 17-21, the second batch of trainees were set to undergo another Technical and Vocational Education Training for Parents (TVET-P) on the Mobile Training Center (MTC) on November 20-24. This was made possible with the partnership of SM Development Corporation (SMDC) and CFC ANCOP Global Foundation, Inc. (CAGFI) and is being facilitated again by skilled trainers from Don Bosco ONE TVET Philippines.
To further support this year’s ANCOP Global Walk, CFC Metro Manila East A Sector initiated a “Bowling for Education” activity, which aims to gather more funds in order to help more poor but deserving students through AGW. This was held last October 21, 2018 at Q Plaza Bowling Center, Cainta, Rizal.
