NEW MULTI-PURPOSE HALL BLESSED IN ANCOP SITE AT TALA
Wednesday, September 19, 2018
Fr. Paul Foulon – PCCF ANCOP Community in Tala, Caloocan City has now been blessed with their newly constructed Multi-purpose Hall (MPH) named after the late and former Senator of Canada, Sen. Tobias Enverga, Jr, the founder of Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF), which made this MPH possible together with the 19 out of 60 houses they previously donated for the community in partnership with CFC ANCOP.
Sen. Enverga Multi-purpose Hall formally opened to the community with a ribbon cutting led by CFC ANCOP Canada President Bro. Ricky Cuenca together with other CFC ANCOP leaders from Canada, Philippines and Metro Manila North A Leaders. The community also offered a Mass presided by Fr. Marvin Riquez from the Diocese of Novaliches, followed by the blessing of the MPH also led by him.
The MPH will now serve as their primary venue for evangelization in the area. It will also serve as a place for assemblies, household meetings, teachings, and other activities, as all the villagers are already members of the Couples for Christ. Bro. Ricky Cuenca on his message, “biyaya ito sa atin ng Diyos at talagang nagpapatunay na mahal na mahal tayo ng Panginoon, at sinasagot niya ang ating mga dasal.” (This is a blessing from the Lord, and this justifies that the Lord loves us so much and He answers our prayers.) He also told the people that we should always be thankful for this blessing by taking good care of it.
Leaders of North A sector and the whole community also expressed their gratefulness to CFC ANCOP Global Foundation, Inc. and its partner donors, through Bro. Nic Olivar, North A Evangelization Director; Bro. Romero Cesar, President of Fr. P. Foulon ANCOP Samahan, Inc.; and Bro. Salve Caro, North A ANCOP Head. They assured that they will always pray to the Lord that more people will get to help others who are in need.
The day ended with a closing prayer led by North A7 Cluster Head, Bro. Archie Gambayan. They thanked the Lord that they are given an opportunity to be blessed by Him through CFC ANCOP and its partner donors to build this community. (CFC ANCOP Communications)
Couples for Christ leaders from Negros Occidental recently held their first-ever ANCOP and Social Development Summit last September 1 at Padre Pio Hall, Sacred Heart Shrine Compound, Bacolod City. The primary objective of this activity is to empower the leaders, from the Chapter Heads up to the Area Governance Team of Negros Occidental to support ANCOP and SocDev programs, and to enlighten them about the new policies and practices that are important in implementing the ANCOP programs in the province.
Canada and Philippines had already built a strong and friendly relationship, with a pronounced close cooperation in different areas that are vital in improving each other’s welfare as a nation; such as in good governance, human rights protection, mutual international peace, funding assistance, and many more.
