ANCOP Ambassador Immersion Tour 2017

Once in every two years, the ANCOP Ambassador Program is held across Australia with the following objectives:

  1. To spread awareness of the work of ANCOP (acronym for ANswering the Cry Of the Poor) in the Oceania region and Philippines;
  2. To foster among CFC members and the wider community ANCOP’s vision which is “Families in the Holy Spirit sharing God’s transforming love with the poor”;
  3. To raise funds for education as administered by CFC ANCOP Global Foundation in the Philippines and CFC ANCOP organizations in the Oceania Region;
  4. To contribute to ANCOP’s global goal of “40 @ 40” in reaching out to 40,000 families in five years, culminating in CFC’s 40th year anniversary in 2021; and
  5. To broaden the reach of ANCOP, this project shall be promoted throughout Australia, to include / encourage involvement of other communities aside from CFC.

Administered by the CFC ANCOP Australia in cooperation with CFC ANCOP Philippines, this tour encourages the ambassadors to make a difference in the world by making the spirit of volunteerism come alive in their hearts.

Maricet Blancia – Couples for Christ, Bankstown, Sydney

Jay Mingi – Couples for Christ Perth

Yvette Nielo – Couples for Christ, Hawkesbury, Sydney

Allan Tolentino – Couples for Christ, Sydney

Mary Grace Tonel – Handmaids of the Lord, Sydney

Milane Cawaling – Couples for Christ, Western Deanery, Sydney

ANCOP Australia Ambassadors will be on tour starting January 13 until January 22. In the first few days, they dropped by the CFC Global Mission Center, Bahay at Yaman ni San Martin de Porres Orphanage in Bustos, Bulacan where some of the ANCOP Australia scholars are housed, Bagong Silang and San Mateo, Rizal. They even attended the CFC Leaders Conference in the Mall of Asia Areana in Pasay City.

They will then visit ANCOP Australia Communities in Samar, Leyte and Cebu including the building of houses for the poor.
