It was a momentous and joyful day last January 28, 2017 in CFC ANCOP Vancouver Homes in Tablang, Paniqui, Tarlac as Ancop Canada, led by its President Bro. Ricky Cuenca turned over 95 homes to its beneficiaries. Bro. Lito Policarpio, CFC Ancop Provincial Ministry Head reported that out of the 95 homes, five are being sponsored by Holy Cross of Vancouver and five from the Local Government Unit (LGU).
The event started with a mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Fred Dizon from St. Rose De Lima Parish followed by the blessing of the homes.
The Hon. Leonardo Roxas Jr., Barangay Captain of Tablang thanked Ancop Canada for sharing God’s blessings and encouraged all the beneficiaries to take care of their respective homes as this is a gift from God. He also represented his father, Mayor Leonardo Roxas Sr. who was unable to attend due to previous commitment : “…continue doing the work of God by helping the poor,” was his father’s message to Ancop Canada.
The highlight of the event was the turn over of the symbolic key and distribution of the Certificates of Awards to the beneficiaries led by Ancop Canada, CFC leaders as well as the local government officials of Tarlac.
This was followed by a heartwarming and emotional sharing of Bro. Romy Cabunoc, CFC-YFC Coordinator and an Ancop Canada shelter beneficiary whose life was transformed when he joined CFC. He brings back to God the blessing by being active in his service to CFC and by helping in the electrical maintenance of the units inside the village. “Serve the Lord in unity, love one another and be thankful to Him always” was his message to the beneficiaries.
Members of the Youth for Christ and Kids for Christ ended the program with dance numbers to the delight of the audience.
WE bring back to God all the praises and glory!

Jobless. Abroad. Alone and lonely. This was what life was like for many members of Couples for Christ (CFC) Netherlands during the first months of the COVID-19 crisis. The reality of people in need inspired CFC Country Heads Mel and Daday de Leon, together with ANCOP Heads Medel and Milen Aviles, to start the “Tulong Kapatid” program, which provided relief through door-to-door delivery of care packages as well as financial assistance to the most affected CFC members.
MANILA, Philippines — Rain or shine, on lockdown or not, we’re walking for our scholars! For the first time ever, the ANCOP Global Walk (AGW) goes virtual and will target 5 billion steps over three months to help send underprivileged students and seminarians to school. This year, the AGW will also benefit ANCOP’s calamity services, which most recently have been assisting sectors most affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
