ANCOP GLOBAL WALK 2018 UPDATES

Friday, August 03, 2018

In line with the preparations for the upcoming ANCOP Global Walk this year with the theme, “Walk as One Nation for Education,” several happy developments were announced for the said event that will happen in Metro Manila, Philippine Provinces, and several countries abroad this month of August to September. Here are some of the updates:

  • For the Metro Manila AGW on September 16, 2018 at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, walk route would be shortened from 5 kilometers to 3 kilometers to enable all walkers to be back on time to attend the Holy Mass scheduled at 6:30am. Walk will start at 4:45am.
  • A color coding of head gears and/or props per CFC MM Sectors were also added to make the walk more visually attractive. The color assignments are as follows:

  • As for the Philippine Provinces’ AGWs, everyone is encouraged to assign their own color coding for their respective walks.

  • In addition to making the walks more visually attractive, as well as to exemplify festivity and excitement, we are bringing in Drum Beaters in front to lead the walkers, and all sectors are also encouraged to bring along their own Drums and Bugle Corps/Drum Beaters.
  • Online registration for the public (non-CFC Members) will be put up via www.cfcancop.org soon. They may also donate any amount through this facility.

Join this year’s CFC ANCOP Global Walk 2018 and together let us help send more students to school!
