CFC ANCOP QATAR STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP WITH PISQ
Thursday, May 30, 2019
With the heart to expand their reach and their massive support in answering the cry of the poor, CFC ANCOP Qatar team strengthens their partnership by initiating successful ventures with the Philippine International School of Qatar (PISQ). The school, through its principal Mr. Jason Iyas, signed up to support four ANCOP scholars for School Year 2019-2020 and expressed willingness to provide overseas job opportunity to the graduates of ANCOP Educational Sponsorship Program (ESP) from the Philippines.
The fruitful partnership started all the way from 2014, with active and dedicated participation of Youth for Christ (YFC). YFC Qatar’s National Coordinators, Bro. Nino and Sis. Shiela Villamor, tapped Philippine schools in Doha, Qatar, which includes PISQ where there are active YFC members heading its student assembly. Mary Chiles Balana was one of the YFCs who actively supported ANCOP ESP through ANCOP Global Walk (AGW) and gained merit from the former school principal.
PISQ has been supportive in engaging with the ANCOP mission by supporting AGW for three consecutive years now, continuously supporting ANCOP Scholars, and donating books to CFC ANCOP’s National Office in Manila.
Truly, a partnership bound by God will bear much fruit, just like how it is with CFC ANCOP Qatar and PISQ. Let us continue to pray that this will open more ventures in the future that will further strengthen the mission. —PMB, ANCOP Communications
