CFC ANCOP, ROTARY JOIN HANDS FOR A ‘TRAINING TO EMPLOYMENT’ PROGRAM OF IT SCHOLARS

To answer the growing demand of the Information Technology (IT) industry in the country, Couples for Christ (CFC) – ANCOP and the Rotary Club of Commonwealth District 3780 joined hands in providing the IT Trainings and signed the memorandum of agreement on November 28, 2019, at the Centennial Hall, Club Filipino, San Juan City.

CFC ANCOP President Bro. Rudy Gaspillo and Rotary Club President Mr. Nico Gonzales spearheaded the MOA signing which was witnessed by few representatives from the partner organizations.

CFC ANCOP will select from the poorest among the poor for this program entitled “TRAINING TO EMPLOYMENT OF I.T. SCHOLARS,” which aims to deliver IT-Digital Marketing Scholarships to its beneficiaries. The program will involve a 10-day training, to be facilitated by Hive Training and Assessment Center Corporation, in their centers located in Manila and Davao.

CFC ANCOP also revealed plans of adding the program to its other Mobile Training Centers (MTC), a program that will reach out to those in the peripheries.

HIVE Project Manager, Ms. Theresa Carcamo stated that the partnership with CFC ANCOP along with the Rotary allows them to extend the program to reach more people, aid those in need, give opportunities to the wiling, and especially, help the poor.

On his message, Bro. Rudy Gaspillo emphasized that education is the key to poverty alleviation. In addition, he said that “values formation is very important to achieve holistic transformation.”

Mr. Nico Gonzales also expressed his delight to this partnership, as reflected in his own words “both organizations helped hand in hand, for a better society and community, especially for the poor.” He also reiterated that the partnership and the program are part of their advocacy as a Rotary Club, in helping the society.

The training will officially start in January 2020 and will operate in batches of 20 students. – PMB, ANCOP Communications
