TÜV RHEINLAND FORMALLY AWARDS ISO CERTIFICATION TO CFC ANCOP
Friday, February 22, 2019
TÜV Rheinland, Inc. finally awards its ISO 9001:2015 Management System certification to CFC ANCOP Global Foundation, Inc. last February 20, 2019, at the CAGFI Office in the CFC Global Mission Center. Representatives from TÜV Rheinland, Inc., CAGFI, and Couples for Christ attended the momentous event, as CFC ANCOP is now one of the first (if not the first) non-government/non-profit organization awarded with such certification.
The attendees were welcomed by the CFC President, Bro. Shok Ariola, expressing his delight with the certification, as this is a significant event not just with the work with the poor, but also with the global work as family evangelizers. He said, “[This is a] great work that the Lord is doing through you, and it may challenge us to do better, for the Lord deserves nothing less.” After that, Sis Sheh Canlas, CAGFI Operations Manager, also had the chance to present everything about the organization to the guests.
They then proceeded to the awarding ceremony, presided by Mr. Bobit Loveres, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. Managing Director. He said that they are happy and proud to formally award the certificate to CFC ANCOP, especially with their initiative to comply with a world-class standard such as ISO 9001:2015 without anyone requiring them to do so. He also reminded them that “this is not the end but just the beginning of continuously improving your management system.”
In his acceptance speech, CAGFI President Bro. Rudy Gaspillo honored God for giving them this dream that he had when he started his term as the president. He also expressed his gratefulness to all the ANCOP staff who gave their all for the making this dream happen. With this, he is now more confident to say that the mission of “answering the cry of the poor” is much more real because of an organized and efficient management system.
CFC ANCOP will continue to progress in helping more and more of our poor brethren achieve their dream of getting out of poverty. Its programs will strive harder to address the needs and expectation of every stakeholder. Now that the foundation has achieved a world-class standard, they took a big step on achieving the vision of being “Families in the Holy Spirit, sharing Christ transforming love with the poor.” – PMB, CFC ANCOP Communications
Jobless. Abroad. Alone and lonely. This was what life was like for many members of Couples for Christ (CFC) Netherlands during the first months of the COVID-19 crisis. The reality of people in need inspired CFC Country Heads Mel and Daday de Leon, together with ANCOP Heads Medel and Milen Aviles, to start the “Tulong Kapatid” program, which provided relief through door-to-door delivery of care packages as well as financial assistance to the most affected CFC members.
MANILA, Philippines — Rain or shine, on lockdown or not, we’re walking for our scholars! For the first time ever, the ANCOP Global Walk (AGW) goes virtual and will target 5 billion steps over three months to help send underprivileged students and seminarians to school. This year, the AGW will also benefit ANCOP’s calamity services, which most recently have been assisting sectors most affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
