With its goal to reach all parts of the Philippines, CFC ANCOP and Don Bosco ONE TVET’s Mobile Training Center (MTC) has finally reached the Mindanao Island, having its first stop at Iligan City, Lanao del Norte last November 4-8, 2019. This was made possible with the combined efforts of CFC Israel, CFC Lanao del Norte, and Viray Constructions. The MTC’s weeklong stay at the province provided Technical and Vocational Educational Training to 50 of our poor brethren from Iligan City. Courses include Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), taught by qualified trainers from Don Bosco Technical Institute-Cebu. On November 8, these 50 trainees graduated from the program and now ought to find on-the-job training (OJT) to qualify for NC II Certification by TESDA. TVET-MTC is now moving forward to reach the peripheries of the different parts of the country, providing not just pieces of training, but also hope to our brethren of a better life for their families. The next stop of the program would be in the province of Bohol on November 25-29, 2019. –PMB, ANCOP Communications
