CFCs, Non-CFCs bond at ANCOP Golf Fundraiser Tournament

PASAY City – For people at home in the greens, few things can bond people more than a good game of golf.

This is exactly how 65 brothers from (CFC) and non-CFC players made new friends teeing off at the annual CFC ANCOP Golf Tournament held for the benefit of the 3, 018 AGW-sponsored students in the Philippines, on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Bonding over golf

“The players are coming from different [Metro Manila] sectors. Even the non-CFCs are having a good time bonding together and playing in the fairway,” shared ANCOP Global Walk (AGW) 2025 head Ding Regino in an interview.

Several members of the Annual ANCOP Golf Tournament have a photo just as preparations go into full swing at the Villamor Air Base Golf Course.

He also happily noted that more than half of the players were non-CFCs.

The 18-hole System 36 tournament, featuring a double-barrel tee-off, began shortly after 6:00 a.m. at the Villamor Air Base Golf Course with players from Metro Manila and even nearby provinces like Cavite and Laguna.

While everyone loves fairways and greens, not everyone can be a winner.

Several players take a photo on the fairway before the tournament begins on December 15, 2025 at the Villamor Airbase Golf Course.

He also shared the hope that the event will certainly not be the last of its kind.
