ANCOP Scholars reminded: ‘God uses others to send us His love’

Taking a break from school work and responsibilities, ANCOP scholars from all over the Philippines gathered to be reminded that God uses others to show us His love.

“Napakabait ng Panginoon sa mga taong nagmamahal sa Kanya at naglilingkod sa Kanya (God is so good to those who love and serve Him).” Bro. Boyet Rafael, the current ANCOP President, reminded over 2,000 participants who attended the Philippine Mission Scholars’ Night via Zoom on February 23.

“Mahal tayo ng Diyos kaya nandito tayo ngayon (God loves us, that’s why we’re here)…”

God’s mysterious ways

“Ang Panginoon ay napakamahiwaga. Gagamit siya ng mga tao para iparating Niya sa inyo ang biyaya na nakalaan para sa inyo (The Lord is so mysterious. He uses others to send you the blessings meant for you),” he added, sharing his own story of how he prayed for the blessings he needed and how God answered his prayers through people sent to him at the right place, at the right time.

Jeremy Quimpang, YFC International Coordinator, was also present to share the good news with the scholars.

“Mahal tayo ng Diyos kaya nandito tayo ngayon (God loves us, that’s why we’re here),” Quimpang told thousands of attendees attending both via Zoom and Facebook live.

It’s the little things

He emphasized that despite many challenges, we can decide to let little things make us happy.

It was a fun-filled night of remembering simple joys. After the opening worship led by John Jefferson Acaso, a scholar from Misamis Oriental, participants enjoyed the segment of games and prizes prepared by the ANCOP staff.

Looking forward to more gatherings, the scholars appreciated celebrating life’s simple wins and recognizing God’s love through others.
